Owner, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, & Qualified Supervisor
Daniel Partridge, MSW, LCSW, QS, GTC
Daniel Partridge is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the founder of Covey Counseling, committed to providing compassionate and effective therapy. He earned his Master of Social Work from the University of South Florida in 2013 and has been dedicated to supporting individuals through life’s toughest moments ever since.
My approach is grounded in Person-Centered Therapy, emphasizing compassion, empathy, and genuine connection. In a safe and supportive Telehealth space, I work collaboratively with clients navigating grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, or life transitions to help them find their path forward. I also hold a Geek Therapy Certification (GTC), allowing me to creatively integrate clients’ interests in pop culture, gaming, and fandoms into our therapeutic work.
I believe healing should be as unique as the person seeking it, which is why I bring my whole self to this work. As a Geek Therapy Certified professional, I integrate my passion for pop culture, gaming, and fandoms into my clinical practice. Off-screen, you can find me as a Marvel enthusiast (Team Hulk!), a tabletop gamer, and the proud therapy dog dad to Teddy, who often joins our sessions with his comforting presence.
In addition to providing therapy, I serve as the Program Director at Suncoast Kids Place, a program I have proudly been a part of since 2009, where I support children and families through grief. I'm also an Adjunct Instructor at USF’s School of Social Work, helping to shape the next generation of compassionate clinicians.
As a Qualified Supervisor, I also offer clinical supervision for Registered Clinical Social Work Interns looking to grow in both competence and confidence as future therapists.
